CATHOLICS RETURNING HOME:

Many have seen the commercial on TV about Catholics who have been away from church and coming back to church. Last Lent our Evangelization Committee held a program for returning Catholics. We shall have this program again this year starting in Lent. It will be held on the Thursdays of Lent. If you know of anyone who is Catholic and has been away from the Church, please let them know about this program. If you are uncomfortable with inviting someone give us the name and address and the Committee will invite that person. They will not have to know how we received their name. There is another way that you can help us. Pray that nonpracticing Catholics will be open to the call of the Lord and that this program will be successful. Thank You for your support.

Christ Renews is Coming Again

Planning is underway for the St. Mark Parish Christ
Renews weekends for next year. Have you ever thought,
“I would like to go on one of those weekends
sometime?” What is stopping you now from signing
up? You have nothing to lose. There is no cost. The
weekend is a beautiful experience. Come and meet other
people from the parish, renew your spirit, and strengthen
your faith! The women’s retreat will be on January 28&29
and the men’s on March 34. Registration forms are
available in the narthex for both – take one home and pray about it!
Single Women Committed to the Single Vocation: If you
would like to pray, share and bond with one another while at the same time doing something helpful for our parish, please call Joanne Bock at 5617525602. We would like to gather a group of single women who will support one another while serving Our Lord at St. Marks.
